Cosmetics Industry

Cutting machines are widely used for facial puffs, makeup cotton, facial masks and other cosmetic products, providing clean and consistent cutting results.

Automatic cutting machines are critical in the facial mask and cosmetic sheet industry, where thin, moist, and layered non-woven fabrics, bio-cellulose, and hydrogel materials require precision, hygiene, and high throughput.
For non-woven fabric masks (cotton, bamboo, silk, and synthetic blends), high-speed reciprocating knife and rotary die-cutting systems process multi-layered rolls (up to 30 plies) into ergonomic face shapes—eye, nose, and mouth cutouts—with tolerances of ±0.2mm. Ultrasonic cutting technology is increasingly preferred as it simultaneously seals fabric edges, preventing fiber shedding and unraveling during serum immersion—a critical quality factor for premium sheet masks. Automated nesting software optimizes layout on the roll, achieving material utilization rates above 90% and reducing costly non-woven waste.
For bio-cellulose masks and hydrogel masks (which are delicate, gel-like, and require contamination-free processing), laser cutting systems with sealed CO₂ lasers are employed. The non-contact nature eliminates physical compression or tearing, while the laser energy creates precise, smooth edges without gel leakage or dehydration. Vision-guided registration ensures perfect alignment of multi-layer composites (e.g., masks with backing films or release liners) for consistent peeling and application.
For mask packaging (foil sachets and paper-foil laminates), automatic slitting and die-cutting systems produce precise pouches, with integrated perforation for easy-tear openings. For eye masks, lip masks, and neck masks, oscillating knife systems process smaller, contoured shapes with quick tool-change capabilities, enabling rapid style switchovers.
All systems feature HEPA-filtered dust extraction, stainless steel food-grade construction for hygiene, and smart monitoring of blade wear. These solutions deliver 40–50% labor savings, consistent quality, and rapid adaptability to diverse mask shapes and material innovations.
