Toys and Jigsaw

Toys & Jigsaw Industry

Our cutting machines can process wooden puzzles, paper puzzles, EVA foam puzzles and other non-metal toys with accurate cutting and stable performance.

Automatic cutting machines are transformative in the jigsaw puzzle and board game industry, where precision, intricate geometry, and high-volume production are paramount.
For paperboard and cardboard puzzles, CNC-controlled flatbed die-cutting presses are the standard. Steel-rule dies cut stacked sheets (up to 10mm thick) into hundreds of interlocking pieces simultaneously, achieving tolerances of ±0.1mm—critical for snug, gap-free fits. Advanced rotary die-cutting systems handle continuous rolls at speeds exceeding 150 m/min, producing puzzle sheets with perforated edges for easy separation. For custom or short-run puzzles, CO₂ laser cutters are employed, offering micron-level precision (±0.05mm) without physical tooling. Lasers can cut complex whimsy pieces (animal shapes, thematic silhouettes) and simultaneously engrave reference numbers or logos on the back for sorting assistance. The non-contact nature prevents paper compression, preserving the surface print quality.
For wooden puzzles and 3D puzzle models, CNC routers and waterjet cutting systems process plywood, MDF, and solid wood up to 15mm thick. Multi-axis machines create precision slots, tabs, and interlocking joints for 3D puzzles, achieving tolerances of ±0.1mm for secure assembly without glue. For thick wooden jigsaw pieces, oscillating knife systems with automatic blade oscillation provide clean edges and minimal fuzz, reducing sanding operations.
For puzzle mats and storage accessories, ultrasonic and reciprocating knife cutters process EVA foam, neoprene, and felt into roll-up mats, sorting trays, and piece holders, with simultaneous edge-sealing to prevent fraying.
Integrated nesting software maximizes material yield (up to 92%), while vision systems inspect cut quality in real-time. These systems deliver 40–60% labor reduction, rapid design changeovers, and consistent precision across millions of puzzles annually.
