Automatic cutting machines are essential in the production of rubber rings, plastic flowers, and elastic bands, where high-speed continuous processing, precision, and material diversity are key challenges.
For rubber rings (O-rings, gaskets, and silicone seals), precision tube-cutting machines and rotary knife systems process extruded rubber or silicone tubing into individual rings at speeds exceeding 200 pieces per minute, achieving length tolerances of ±0.05mm—critical for leak-proof sealing applications. For large-diameter industrial seals, waterjet and laser cutting systems cut flat rubber sheets into custom gaskets with complex geometries, producing burr-free, heat-affected-zone-free edges. The non-contact laser process prevents deformation of soft silicone materials.
For plastic flowers and decorative artificial foliage, ultrasonic and hot-wire cutting machines process thin PET, PVC, and polypropylene sheets into petal and leaf shapes with simultaneously fused edges, preventing fraying and enabling realistic curling effects.
